Hi I’m Alison and I currently work part time as a private practitioner at Hallamshire Physiotherapy. Previously I have been a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University where I taught on both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Since qualifying as a Physiotherapist in 1984 my main area of interest has been in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy with a passion for treating sports injuries. I completed my MSc in the management of sports injuries and I have over the years been involved with many sports teams in Sheffield.
At the centre of my treatment approach is analysis of movement, reviewing the problems people encounter and helping them to develop strategies to prevent recurrence of their injuries.
