Following the partnership formed between Hallamshire Physiotherapy and Awesome Walls Climbing Centre, we will be hosting a Free Physio advice session on Thursday 6th February 2025 from 3pm-7pm based at Awesome Walls in Sheffield.
Ian Brocklesby and Peter Thomason (Physiotherapists) will be running a FREE drop-in service for anyone attending Awesome Walls that day. They will be based upstairs in a private space.
To book your free Physiotherapy slot, simply write your name down on a time slot at reception on the day. Slots are unable to be reserved prior to the day.
You are then able to enjoy your climbing session, but please ensure you are waiting outside the room upstairs at the start of your time slot.
You will be called in to discuss your problem, before receiving advice/treatment.
We envisage having the capacity to see at least 24 people on the day. Each slot will be around 15-20 minutes depending on the demand.
You do not need to be a member to benefit from this, but you may want to make the most of your time by also fitting in a climb around the treatment. If you have not been climbing before but would like to learn, please contact the wall in advance to book in an induction session with one of the instructors.
