The Story of Hallamshire Physiotherapy Clinic
Hallamshire Physiotherapy Clinic was started by Steve and Karen Hodgson in 2004 with the intention of providing a centre of excellence for physiotherapy, based on outstanding staff and a commitment to provide a high-quality service.
In 2022, Steve Hodgson retired as Director of the clinic and was replaced by Peter Thomason.
Today, Hallamshire Physiotherapy has over 20 Chartered Physiotherapists with clinics on Newbould Lane, which has ample parking, and on the Ecclesall Road, with limited parking, and is Sheffield’s leading specialist physiotherapy clinic.
The majority of our physiotherapists also have leading roles within NHS hospitals locally, or lecture in physiotherapy at Hallam University, giving you the assurance that the treatment you are given is of the highest quality with an evidence-based approach to treatments.
Finding a physiotherapy clinic you can trust is difficult. At Hallamshire Physiotherapy Clinic we aim to make your decision easier. We have the experience and high quality of care you need, but we have the passion, dedication and endless patience that is often required to change your problem when others have failed. We also make rehabilitation fun!
Our Newbould Lane clinic is home to the majority of our specialist treatment sessions with individuals, while our clinic at Ecclesall Road hosts our exercise rehabilitation classes and a few individual specialist treatment sessions.
We believe in giving you high-quality specialist treatments you can trust. We will listen, we won’t rush you, we aim to get to the root cause of the problem, and we certainly won’t ask you to come for unnecessary treatment sessions.
You can be confident with Hallamshire Physiotherapy Clinic. Our outstanding reputation speaks for itself.
The clinic recently won the 2022/23 ‘Yorkshire Physiotherapy Centre of the Year’ awarded by the Yorkshire Prestige program.
