Hi I’m Anna – I Graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2000 and I specialise in neurological rehabilitation. I have many years of NHS experience including neurosurgery, neurology, head injuries, spinal injuries, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and stroke, amongst other conditions. My special interest is within stroke rehabilitation. I joined the neurology physiotherapy team at Hallamshire Physiotherapy Clinic in 2017 initially alongside my NHS role, and have been working solely for Hallamshire Physiotherapy Clinic since 2019. I also provide treatment and rehabilitation as part of the Hallamshire Physiotherapy Clinic team at the Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre in Catcliffe on a regular basis.
I am Bobath trained, and have attended a course on Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) at the FES headquarters in Salisbury for the lower limb. I am a trained “PD Warrior” instructor and run weekly classes both face-to-face and online including providing physiotherapy sessions within the clinic setting, at our gym facility EXERCISE@863 at 863 Ecclesall Road, and in the community.
