I’ve been qualified as a Physiotherapist for over 12 years and worked for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals since qualifying, I’ve worked in the hospital and in community services.
In my current post I work as a trainee advanced clinical practitioner in the community whilst studying a MSc in advanced clinical practice at Sheffield Hallam university.
I have extensive experience of assessing, diagnosing and treating a variety of respiratory, neurological, musculoskeletal conditions, falls prevention, palliative care, deconditioning and pre op rehabilitation.
I also work on the orthopaedic trauma wards at the Northern General hospital as a specialist physiotherapist.
In my previous role I helped to set up the long covid rehabilitation service for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals supporting patients to manage post viral fatigue and respiratory symptoms.
I’m passionate about empowering patients to understand and manage their conditions to live as full and active life as possible.
I take a holistic approach and will work with you to identify your goals and treatment plan.
