Hi, I’m Jo. I’ve been a physiotherapist since 2006 and have been lucky to work in a variety of settings, from hospitals and clinics to people’s homes, and even overseas. I now work in Derbyshire as a Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist in Rehabilitation, and more recently at the Hallamshire Physiotherapy Clinic.
I have experience helping people with a wide range of neurological conditions, including stroke, Parkinson’s, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, and more. I also have extra training in Vestibular Rehabilitation, which focuses on helping people with dizziness and balance problems, specifically in concussion and traumatic brain injuries.
I’ve completed several master’s modules at Sheffield Hallam University, including Advancing Practice in Neurological Therapy, Physical Activity and Therapeutic Exercise, and Service Improvement Planning. I’m also trained in Bobath and PD Warrior.
I’m passionate about working with each person as an individual, helping you feel empowered and supported on your journey to greater independence and improved quality of life.
